Circular notched ring style with a larger outside diameter carved from Olivewood, a Onetribe favorite wood for carvability, durability, and wearability. The wood is oily and when freshly turned smells of olive oil, sometimes retaining this fragrance while shipping. The wood is generally very finely striped, but sometimes the wood takes on darker or lighter variations. With proper care, Olivewood will age well and be enjoyable to wear for the long term.

The "Large Ring" style has a larger overall diameter than our standard ring style. Each ring is carved individually and finished on both sides for optimum cut, quality, and finish. Particularly in the larger sizes, the turning and hand finishing of a set of rings can take most of the day and requires from our studio carvers an intense attention to detail, patience, and skill. No pair of rings will ship unless it meets our very high standards. We may contact you individually if we have a question about a particular cut or color of a block of wood. Some blocks of wood have interesting variations or unique patterning hidden within it that are totally one of a kind and unexpected.

Ring Opening is between 4-5mm. If you need a larger opening to accommodate a thicker lobe, please let us know so that we can modify your jewelry before it ships. Returns for modifications to opening size will be an additional cost + shipping.
