From a small stock of beautiful, high quality Rainbow Obsidian we have carved a small run of teardrops from this subtly colored stone. The colors are what we call a "sheen," or a very subtle coloration that appears at certain angles and different lighting levels. It is not a color that will be present all the time, will not be seen in low light, and is going to be different from pair to pair.

Please read below for very important information about wearing surfaces and coloring. Not all sizes are the same, and color variations will be apparent from pair to pair. Each pair has been matched well, but please keep in mind that each set will be different and that photographs only tell part of the story of the stone.

Wearing surface and sheen color information:
Sizes 10mm - 5/8" have a wearing surface between 8-9.5mm. Many pieces have a greyish sheen, while one or two show a little purple or banding.

Sizes 17mm - 20.6mm have a wearing surface of 12mm. Coloring is mostly purple with a few pairs of grey sheen.

Sizes over 29mm have a wearable surface of 14mm. Each pair shows purple and the largest size is banded on both pieces.
